Disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) and infrastructure are a cornerstone of mature IT operations. Citrix is often found at the heart of IT service delivery to end-users and is a critical DR component. Despite its criticality to successful business operations in disaster situations, Ferroque and Citrix’s consulting organization often find misalignment of a customer’s Citrix recovery plan. Such misalignments can include: business objectives or technical requirements, untested DR plans, and improper architectures for Citrix in DR. These misalignments can imperil an organization’s ability to successfully recover their Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops platforms; worst yet, we just as often find Citrix missing from an organization’s DR and BCP plans completely, which represents significant business and operational risk.

The Citrix and Ferroque teams have spent decades advising, architecting, and deploying Citrix solutions for customers with varying data centre footprints and recovery objectives that align to Citrix recommended practices; practices which Ferroque has authored for public consumption and can be found in the Citrix Tech Zone. There are a multitude of architectural considerations for DR planning and recovery options for Citrix deployments depending on the technologies in place, budget, and technology constraints.

Join Ferroque and Citrix as we discuss DR planning for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD). We will explore key recovery scenarios to meet business objectives, review important considerations, dispel myths, discuss implications of DR in public clouds, and review how traditional on-prem CVAD DR planning differs from CVADS with Citrix Cloud.

This free webinar will take place on Tues, Apr 20 and Thur, Apr 22 at 10am PST | 1pm EST. Please select a date that works best for you.
