Additional Details
Requirements
- A valid vendor support agreement for the NetScaler appliances
- Customers to securely deliver sanitized (password hashes removed, IPs obfuscated) ns.conf
- Customer available during set change windows to perform upgrades over screen sharing session
- Customer will be responsible for the change control window and for any testing of the line of business applications being accessed via the NetScaler appliances
Limitations & Exclusions
- This engagement is limited to a remote delivery modality
- Limited to in-place firmware upgrades of up to one (1) NetScaler pair (MPX or VPX) or standalone NetScaler on-prem or in the cloud
- Excludes upgrade of NetScaler SDX bundle
- Post-upgrade remediation support is best effort with up to two (2) support hours. Additional time can be purchased separately. If the time is insufficient, the upgrade will be reverted
- Excludes classic to advanced policy conversions. If identified in the config file, additional remediation services may be required before the upgrade
- Excludes custom portal theme conversions (all portal themes other than RfWebUI-based themes are deprecated). If identified in pre-flight checks, additional remediation services may be required before the upgrade
- Excludes weekend work. Upgrades can be performed during weekdays (if practical) or weeknights only
- Excludes pre and post-application testing, which the customer remains responsible for
- This engagement is not suitable for customers with a large fleet of NetScalers needing to be upgraded
- This engagement does not include an assessment as part of the service. Customers interested in one should consider pairing this service with our NetScaler Micro-Assessment
- Expires one (1) year from date of purchase
